Hi, I bought a new muffler and I also purchased the catalytic converter replacement 'test' pipe in case I needed it. The catalytic converter test pipe has the regular 3 hole flange on one end where it bolts to the muffler which is fine. The other end has me a little stumped. It is just flared. It looks like it would accept a 'donut' gasket but there is no loose 3 hole flange piece there to bolt it to the mating pipe and no donut to compress either. I hope this makes sense. Bye, Mark Ingalls 85 GL 75 Beetle
