Looks like a clean installation but I don't see how this setup can make much of a difference with the location you used. Can there be any air movement at all through your cooler?

Also a thermostat controlled bypass is in order to make sure your engine doesn't get too cool in cooler weather.

I also recommend an oil pressure gauge if you don't already have one.
