Hi Joseph, Taking the instrument cluster out from the dash is a piece of cake. You just pop the shell off from the back (there are two areas for your fingers, feel around), then I think there are three screws to take out. To take it out completely you have to disconnect the wires to the various switches, speedo cable, etc. Putting it back together is just as easy. Its really just a matter of minutes to get the thing out. Jeff 87 syncro
