Yeah. Truth be told I paid about that at the VW dealer for the kit. I figured, as the dealer told me, I'd have the parts the next day. And I wanted to get the bus back together. But the dealer hosed me by keeping me waiting a week and being smug about it. I hate the VW dealer here (Van Nuys, CA). But the shims were 4.62 each costing a total of 9.24 each side. part numbers are 211-615-231 and 211-615-232. I'm guessing the one part number is inner the other is outer as they shouldn't cahnge from driver's to passenger's side. I'd double check the part number anyway because I dealt with a second rate parts guy (and that's an insult to second rate parts guys). I didn't see the part in my Bus Depot catalogue unless it comes with the $12 brake hardware kit. Maybe if you run the part numbers at the bus depot site something will come up. I'm out the door now so don't have time to check at BD, Jeff 1983.5 Westy LA,CA |
