As I have posted in the archives, "fancy dash" is poorly made and doesn't fit the dash of my '82 Diesel Westfalia. I indicate the model because others have indicated that it did fit. After many hours with a Dremel tool it now adequately fits, Of course, soda cans only fit in the cupholder on the passenger side. Of course they can be pressed in the drivers side one with a level of force just shy of crushing the can. Trying to remove a partially consumed can generally leads to liquid on the rear seat. Turns out the ID of the hole on the left is 1.2 mm smaller than the one on the right. Oh yeh, the ashtray holder is also 2 mm too shallow the contain the ashtray.

Least I be considered overly critical, I will acknowledge that it is a flat surface more or less on the right hand side. Using it for a gauge mount is probably more effective than using it as a cupholder.
