Uh, Oh. That's why my dealer is having such a hard time getting the replacement for me.

They've ordered the "B" part, which was supposed to supercede the original, which lead me to believe that it is a reinforced replacement. Can you post a URL of a picture of the part you got, or email me a picture?

That part has always been a Achilles heel of the 1.9L cooling system. I've been through three of them myself, all failing exactly the way you described.
