Max, The 3-M pabel adhesive is a bonding agent, for fiberglass, steel, and plastic's like in Fiero,Cadillac, and Mack truck.

The stuff is tough, and no, I have never repaired a H-fitting in a Vanagon with it, but I have patched a leaking radiator tank on a John Deere 170 with this formula, and its been there for 5 years, under heat and pressure, without leaking.

Now I now good and well the Vanagon isn't a JD, but I think this may be a temporary solution for a part that is NLA.

I do know that the panel adhesive will work better than; duct tape, bubble gum, JB Weld, or bondo.

Love and Kisses,
