Hi My father in law has a vexing problem with his 88. The car starts and runs fine, mileage is good. The problem is hot start. After the car has been run and shut off, (engine to temperature) the car will not start. Cranking speed is ok. Spark looked good, distributor replaced with brand new unit. The exhaust smells like raw fuel, but I did not pull a plug to check for fuel.

Coolant sensor? Air temp sender in AFM?

I m slightly stumped

Any ideas?

Thanks

Dan SOiney
