The URAL sells for about 800$ US in Russia, even Russians know a good deal. They sell for about 5400$ in the US with upgraded wheels (chrome) side car with a spare tire. The Royal Enfield factory was bought out by the Government of India when BSA/Triumph/Norton/Enfield closed their factory there. They offer a Enfield Clone that is reasonable quality with low performance. I think the low performance is based on the need to run cheap fuels that are readily available in those countries. You're right about the top speed on the URAL but I'd bet you could run it on bacon drippings.
