I asked for advice yesterday about the air-cooled '82.  I asked what to look for in this engine.  I went out today to look at the van.  It did not take long. I was told it had a "few spots of surface rust."  I saw major seam rust, and window rust.  He gave me a tour, and I told him,"No thank you."  Thanks to those that gave me hints about the air-cooled '82.
