A few years back I had a leaking schrader valve on an Olds. I found an extention at my FLAPS that is essentially a short hose (4 or 5 inches) that screws onto the existing valve. It had its own schrader valve, so it sealed the leak. Would work until you have other major work done. JCWhitney has the valve replacement tool in their AC section. Jay

An HVAC tech where I work told me about a device that aqllows one to change the Schrader valve core w/o have to depressureize system. How does one get one of these and how much do they cost?
