Cast metal does not bend. <G> Someone put a homebuilt extender on the
drivers side of my '82's window crank. It looks simple a moves the handle
away from the door. They put 1/2" piece of black rubber hose between the
door and the handle. It is a cross section cut of maybe 1" hose. This
works as a spacer. They used a longer screw to secure the handle. This may
help someone.

My window cranks hit my Blaput speaker grills but Its just a dragging
action that scratches the speaker grills.
I've learned to live with it. I tried bending the cranks out and broke
one so that was the end of it.
