Hey Alan, Any sightings of a certain Passat on 390? Wink Wink know what I mean? Seriously, that sounded like a great trip, exactly what vans are made for. We take ours out all the time for such trips, there is not even an issue. Should we take her Subaru or should we go in style? We will often stop and snack or lunch with a nice cup of tea freshly steamed. My wife doesn't hate my van she is just jealous for how much time and attention I spend. My wife knows about my addiction and has been supporting me/it. She started waiving on I-80 on our first date on a trip from Salt Lake to Tahoe in 1984. The trouble is there aren't enough other vans to wave to in our neck of the woods. The woods were fantastic around the Finger Lakes this last weekend and I bet we have about one more week of great fall foliage.... then get your syncros and snow shovels out and prepare for those great Rochester Winters. Cheers, Joel + Molly and a van Also in the Finger Lakes 89 Syncro Westy MV
