I've bent both of my window crank handles very carefully and not too much with no problem. I've done it more than one set as well since I keep yanking the knobs off cause I'm too aggressive at tolls (EZ-Pass has helped). As long as you don't mind black crank handles, you can get them for $5 each at a flaps when you bend it too far (snap).
