Subject: Is there such a thing as a rear storage heater for a Double Cab?

I am in the middle of restoring my 1988 Syncro DoKa - no more Ford Areostar bumper - no more weird side windows (yes the previous owner WAS on drugs). While at the body shop some Syncro 16" wheel arches will be installed, "Tri-Star" two tone paint scheme, the wooden Westfalia "big box" etc etc. What I am wondering is if there was ever an option to have a heater in the under bed storage area. It would be quite simple to install a passenger van heater back there - was it done or was it a heater unique to the Double Cabs / Single Cabs.
