Chris,

Not me, my air bag sits next to me regardless which van I'm in

today i saw a vanagon with a drivers side airbag. the owner insisted it was original. it was a 91 westy, which he bought new. the airbag steering wheel looked just the same as the steering wheel in my '90 cabriolet, which also has an airbag. there was even a sticker on the back of the sunvisor pertaining to the airbag. i became even more curious and poked around and found the orange airbag control module behind the glovebox, and a extra 2 lights in the warning light pod in the middle of the speedo for the airbag... anyone else heard of this? chris
