It has always been my policy to "Open Mouth, Insert Foot" I've just never heard of the E-Z out method working unless you grind down the E-Z out to an exact fit that will bottom out in the socket and then find a way to keep extrene downward preassure in the combination Extension, Socket, E-Z out. I've just found that cleaning the sockets and driving in the proper tool will get better results. With allen type I've ground down oversized allen and driven them in with better results.
