Don't disagree. Twas what I tried to say. However, Ethylene Glycol in a 50 percent mixture with typical tap water will support considerable ionic transport, and the conductivity is substantial. Not up to brine and hence slave electrode technology is not required ... just maintainence and fresh inhibitors. pH is the most serious threat to a copper insert.

BTW, I have not followed this thread and so I don't have a clue as to the original question. Just couldn't stand the nonsense about unconductive coolant. 2K ohms per square is substantial. The actual numbers are out there.
