Then you should ask your chemist freind if plating can occur by just
dunking the nickel chrome and the steel in solution without wiring the
metals together. Electrolysis occurs because of electron transfer and the
metal that corrodes is the metal that has a lower electro-negativity.
Same way a car battery works. You actually need to ask a materials
engineer for the scoop on what electrolysis is all about. Aloha, Ed
