Carefull!
I lost my motor because of this. That sensor detect
lack of coolant by sensing non-conductivity between
those pins when the coolant is gone. Mine had a
similar crack like yours, causing the wires to become
wet. Then when the oil cooler union broke and I lost
all coolant during the night, the sensor circuitry
still thought I had coolant and didn't warn me. The
temp sensor measures NOTHING with no coolant since
it's mounted on the hose and not on the block, so
after 15 minutes my motor was gone...:-(
Search the archives for a lengthy description I posted
in the past.
Fix it quick. This is a costly design flaw...
