=3er jump in front on a trip back from paddling Big Piney Creek several
years ago.  After shaking off the adrenaline, I barely got out tof the
car(timeframe: dark-thirty) and a pickup truck full of"locals" asked if they
could have the deer.  I didn't care until I realized that they'd just hauled
off my evidence for the insurance claim and police report.

Fortunately, the $1100 damage was covered by comprehensive and that previous
bondo in the front end had chipped and snagged enough deer fur to satisfy
everyone involved.
