Sure it is. As long as it's a long flat road, I can do 70 mph in my 1.6 td Syncro. The only problem is I can't seem to hear well for the next day or so. Last Saturday, I was averaging 75-85 mph on Interstate 5 on the way to San Diego while driving my 87 GL 2.1 WBX. Speed limit was 70mph. On one stretch while driving next to a lime green Acura Integra, I saw those ominous lights flash in my rear view mirror. I mean it was just past 2am. That light really woke me up. Wouldn't you know it? He pulls behind the Acura which I just passed, and tells him to pull over via loud speaker. I was tickled lime green. Thank you Vanagods. BenT |
