Hi, I own a 83 diesel vanagon. I parked my van the other day, only to come back to a large spill of coolant all over the pavement. I thought ohhh no the plastic reservoir burst, something that had happened 4 years ago on a trip through the mountains. Instead what I found was that the intake tube had popped off because the reservoir had dropped down inside the engine. I secured the tube again, added coolant and wired the tank up and went on my way for a temporary fix. Is there a bracket that holds the reservoir up? I see nothing hanging around the engine that broke or dropped down etc.... and no way to hold the reservoir up. Thanks. Sue |
