Subject:      timing belt
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Simple solution to the timing belt problem: replace the belt at the factory specified interval! This is crucial with any "interference" engine, including many overhead cam four and six cylinder engines, gas and diesel. Not a hard job, if you do it yourself, and not very expensive either! Consider it an opportunity to get in touch with your Vanagon's "inner self"!
