I also have purchased used Vanagon items from Campbell/Nelson and was disappointed more than once. To make a long story short; I would never buy anything from Campbell/Nelson that I didn't thoroughly inspect first.

Note that they are also a New Car (Volkswagen) Dealer! They also regularly buy and sell used Vanagons, Westys, Eurovans and others.

Anyone know if Bry's in Seattle is still in business? Much better choice for used stuff in that area.

Andrew

Don't buy from Campbell Nelson they will rip you off. I bought an engine from them about 1 1/2 years ago. The supposidely NEW engine was damaged in about two dozen spots and the crate it was in was too small for the engine. The top of the crate was cardboard! Parts of the engine were sticking out of the crate and hit other things. I strongly recommend that list members not even consider these guys.
