I have had positive experiences with C-N and so have many of my customers who do engine conversions with us. Currently we are working on a 2.0L Audi 80 "3A" install for a customer and we had C-N supply the engine for us. When the engine arrived is was packaged on an over sized pallet and all the miscellaneous parts will neatly packaged in a separate cardboard box. Upon inspection of the contents of the engine and box, I noticed some parts were missing (not packed with the shipment). We contacted C-N and told them what parts we were missing - without hesitation they UPSed us the missing parts at their expense. Now that all the parts are here I am more than happy with their service. Several of my customers have said the same thing about them - if something is amiss, they try their best to correct it.

I am sure that C-N has had their bad days, I know I have had a few, just like every other vendor out there.

Just adding my two cents worth here and passing on my personal experiences about them. Not an endorsement or slam of their services or products, your mileage may vary and all the other usual disclaimers apply.

Don't buy from Campbell Nelson they will rip you off. I bought an engine from them about 1 1/2 years ago. The supposidely NEW engine was damaged in about two dozen spots and the crate it was in was too small for the engine. The top of the crate was cardboard! Parts of the engine were sticking out of the crate and hit other things. I strongly recommend that list members not even consider these guys.
