When my Westy's top got a little moldy, I used a pot scrubber pad (like a scotch-brite) and some soapy water, nothing else. The job was easy, and the problem hasn't come back in well over a year. I keep the van in a garage when I'm not using it, so it stays looking new. If you want to put a protectant on it, there are many good products made for fiberglass boats; the Westy top is essentially the same.

Just scrub it down about once every two years with a stiff brush and dutch cleanser. Keep the tree sap off of it (wash it when you wash your car) and the mold will not have the media to grow again.
