Subject: '88 Hiccup gone... or is it?

Just returned on the weekend from a week long trip to Redmond, OR from Victoria, BC. Drove both ways basically non stop at around 105-115 km/h and the 2.1L WB was flawless the whole way, aside from fairly dismal mileage.

Which prompted me to think: the van hasn't bucked or hiccupped all trip, so I guess the new fuel filter must have done the trick. The next day, the bucking occurred, but only twice in quick succession, then it was gone. Go figure...

ps: I've tried the AFM wiper cleaning/adjusting, the capacitor fix and neither seemed to help. I'm fairly certain that installing a 1.6TD will solve the problem though... ;-)
