I"ve been out of town on a ship for the last few days so sorry I did not
get back to you.
I've temporarily fixed the part with ABS heat activated glue and it's
working. If you can find the part please try and get it. I'll look tonight
for the prefix numbers but in general a 1.9 litre engine was in 83-85
(round headlights). The fitting in any other Vanagon is a single T fitting.
If you wanted a better description it looks more like an H fitting with a
bent leg.  Thanks again.
