I get pulled over in my 62 a lot...its always something stupid... like no front license plate, but I had a temporary plate on the back and they only give you one plate.

There are 2 things that I expect when I get pulled over.

1. They have some urgent need to search my bus. I wonder why eh? Bus = drugs = promotion. But, they have yet to search one of my buses. Cop - "Would you step outside so I can search your vehicle?" Me - "Nope!" Cop - "Do you have something to hide?" Me - "Nope, but I have better things to do than sit here and watch you rummage through my stuff. Besides, you have no reason to search it." Then he gets an upset look on his face and shoots me the next line....

2. "You don't have your seat belt on, I'm going to have to fine you for that." Or something to that effect.... Then they always get that look on their face like "oh, uhhmmm, ok" when I tell them it doesn't have seatbelts and yes it is legal. Refreshing their memory or teaching them something new...I'm still not sure which one it is sometimes.

Its not a vanagon...but a vw bus none the less. I have yet to get pulled over for speeding in the 62... The day I get pulled over for speeding on the highway in that bus is the day I file a harassment suit against the police station :)

Isaiah 91 carat on the way
