Hey ya'll,


I've been off list for a while, but recently I had to fix the beast
again (a 1985 vanagon) which now belongs to my parents. The water
pump locked up, and the resultant overheating cracked the H shaped
piece that goes in between the coolant reservoir and the coolant
hoses leading to the water pump and block.


VW dealer is no help, the part number is obsolete, and the part
number it crosses to is absolutely not usable as a replacement. So,
anyone know where to get this part, or have a used one for sale?
