Subject: Blown water pump '87 Wolfy - Mechanic or self fix?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi all-

Water pump blew this morning on my way to work. just happened to be a block from the mechanic. Made it to work and they called to say they want $112 for the part and $250 to put it in!

What do you think? Is this an easy fix? or not something I want to hassle with?

I have basic know-how and tools. I must say it looked pretty easy just sitting there at the back of the engine. Deceptively so? Thanks for the help.
