Sorry I should of told everyone that there was no one in the van at the time. What happened is the van was parked on a steep hill, popped out of gear, rolled down the hill, smashed a car backing out of a driveway(literally knocked this car (dodge neon) right out of the way--the car did a 180 and landed in the yard), then continued on it's way narrowly missing another vehicle at the intersection on the bottom of the hill, crossed the intersection(now going about 65 mph), crossed between a fire hydrant and utility pole, smashing a fire alarm on the pole at the same time(notifying the fire dept.) then head on into a very large tree, then to top it all off it rolled over an embankment of about 10 feet high. I watched the whole thing, and could do nothing, just glad I wasn't in it, well actually I wish I was because I could of hit the brakes! My 82 diesel westy is sadly missed, but now I have an 87 syncro that I love as much as the westy.
