Perhaps they're ok as long as they stay on their wheels, but the roof on some of the later full-sized olds wasn't as good as it could have been. Seen a few of them smashed flat under their own weight, and the occupants weren't the better for it..

If you want one of the safest cars ever built get a 65-87 Olds, Chevy, Buick or Pontiac full sized station wagon. They have some of the highest ratings ever recorded. As for me, if I have a wreck "I'll be the first one there, and that will be enough for me".
