Hello all, again.

to recap - water pump blew as I passed the mechanic on
the way to work. pushed it in and they wanted $375
parts and labor?

Before I tell you the stunning conclusion I just want
to thank everyone for the amazing response. I was
making this decision during a busy day at work and the
speed and volume of the information that came in was
incredible. Thank you, much appreciated.


Well, I let 'em do it. Feel like a sucker already, but
a sucker with a running car (daily driver) and not
worried about taking the wonderfully ecologic but
highly inconvenient bus to work tomorrow.
