Yes, the switch is same old VW fan switch design used since Fox/dasher days, and prone to meltdown as it carries full current. You can minimize the coolant loss by clamping hoses very close to the ends before removing connections. Fairly easy to do, I've had mine out many times; it's sitting in my garage now since I don't drive the van in the winter I just put a 1/2" copper elbow in its place.======================== Shawn Wright Computer Systems Manager Shawnigan Lake School http://www.sls.bc.ca swright@sls.bc.ca
