Slight warning about Fast German. One of my customers had one of their motors catastrophically fail at 20k miles. They refused to warranty it (massive oil leak). The second customer that I have heard from about them bought an engine from them. The motor arrived several weeks late and is damaged in shipping. He has to send this motor back and wait a few more months and never did get the motor. When he sent the core in (you know they charge $1000 core charge) they said the oil pump, engine bearings, rod bearings, etc were worn out and so they only gave him $300 core credit (if these things weren't worn out why would he need a rebuilt engine?). Finally he gives up waiting for the second rebuild to show up and orders one through VW. He gets this motor in a week or so. This was last year. As of two weeks ago he still has not been refunded all of his money. He told me to please warn people to avoid Fast German Auto.

Bill, Bob is not perfect. There is no place on his website that says that he is (no place on mine either). I have never had a decent core, sent to Bob, not get full core value. The fact that Bob didn't quit trying to help you with your motor after the second try, shows me that he is commited to helping his customers. Just thought I would point this out.
