Woah...that was close!

I was just driving down Highway 60 in the East Phoenix Valley (Arizona) and I failed to notice that traffic was stopped up ahead of me in the right lane (yeah...I even drive in the slow lane). So...with a split second decision to side swipe any car next to me...or hit head on with the rear end of an expedition, I quickly made the decision to swerve...seeing as how at 65mph without a seatbelt in a vanagon would most certainly mean instant death. So...I swerve...and luckily...no cars to the side of me...even though I thought the van was going to tip from the sharp turn I made (luckily I just put in newer stiffer shocks)! As I drove on...wondering exactly where I got instinct like that after only 3 years of driving...I thought about how easy it is to die in a Vanagon. I love my van to death...literally...but they are very dangerous vehicles. They don't really seem to dangerous until you have a brush with death in one...So...needless to say...I learned my lesson about driving fast in the slow lane...instead now...i think i'll drive slow in the fast lane...mostly just to piss people off...not really for safetys sake.

please...everyone...drive safely...be aware that there is barely anything in front of you in case of a head on collision...and...wear your seat belts...it's the least you could do...thanks

Myc
