Subject: audi turbo rims for 82 westy what tire size and adapters
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Have the 86 or so Audi turbo rims with ET 45. Has anyonefit these with 215/75/15 size tires? I looked at the vanagon info page for rims and tires and see that the mercedes benz rims ET 37 are running this size tire along with the 5/16 spacer up front to clearance the tie rod end. Question: If the ET45 Audi rim is used I must provide 10mm of outward clearance ie. the difference between the stock ET35 and the Audi ET45 thus 10mm or 7/16 inche spacer. Actually 10mm is closer to 3/8. I see that Pep boys has these spacers that fit that provide 5/16 which is 8mm -that seems very close. Now with the 215/75/15 I am thinking the tire will protrude a bit more and rub. Where to buy these spacers and lug nuts? Thanks in advance gatorxray@netzero.net mike san diego
