Subject: Exhaust questions
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

I have an exhaust leak. In trying to find it, I found that my muffler is not supported like I would like it to be. The brackets that used to be on my exhaust pipes (where they connect to the rear two cylinders) have broken/rusted off and my muffler is not getting supported very well.

In my frustration in taking the exhaust system off and then putting it back on, I talked myself into getting a whole new exhaust system, or at least part of one. When putting my exhaust back on, I put on new gaskets, but still have a small leak somewhere. Any thoughts on this? Will a new exhaust system solve both my support issues and help cure my exhaust leak?

Also, my heads have studs on all the exhaust outlets except one. should I put a stud there too? If so, how do I install a stud?

thanks, Blake 84 westy SLC UT
