# Sounds like a misfire but since you have changed all the ignition parts
I am stumped.

#All Vanagons idle rough, as far as stalling; double check the idle
position sensor. Then retard the timing #a little more BTDC than Bentley
calls for. Between five and two BTDC is common. Beware of pinging. #This
may help most of your symptoms.

#All the 85 owners I have talked to say a A/C boost was not added. I
rigged a relay to operate the P/S's #solenoid.
