I don't have the Hella auxillary battery kit.  I decided to go a bit more
expensive route because I wanted my wife to be able to use my auxillary
battery as a starter battery if necessary.  To do this I need a relay with
contacts rated for high amperage.  After some searching I found a battery
separator manufactured by Sure Power Industries, Inc.  Take a look at
http://www.surepower.com/separator.html .  This has worked well for us
through the summer.  I can give you more details on how I installed it if
you decide to go this route.
