Subject:      Cold start cable: how to add to non-diesel Vanagon?

I am planning to swap a 1.6TD or 1.9TD into my '88 Westy. What
needs to be done to get the cold start cabling and knob installed? Are
the parts from a diesel Vanagon the only way to go, or have other
options been tried?
