And last year I reported about my seized plug, which required about 1/2 hour of pounding with a hammer and cold chisel to remove... This was after all attempts with a torch and the proper 17mm socket failed, leaving a rounded hole. Of course the plug was destroyed, but no damage to the trans. Just be sure to have a spare plug just in case.
