The Audi center caps are very much larger than the Mercedes style. The Audi caps cover the lug bolts too, not just the very center. The Audi lug area is made without concern for appearances as Audi expects it to be covered by the large caps. Typical Mercedes alloy rims leave the lug area exposed so they are made to look good all the way to the center hole and a small center cap finishes the look fine.
