Hi Volks, The right front brakes on my 87 Syncro started grinding Friday afternoon one hour into a weekend road trip. I decided to push on and suffer the consequences later. After inspections this morning, its quite obvious I have worn through a decent amount of the front right disc. A couple of questions: 1. Can discs be machined or repaired, or do I need to get new ones? 2. Is replacing all the front brakes components on a syncro a difficult job? Ive never done brakes before, but have managed shocks, starer, cv joints, etc.. 3. Anything I else I should check out for replacement while in there? Thanks, Jeff __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make a great connection at Yahoo! Personals. http://personals.yahoo.com |
