hi all, i'm looking to sell my White 82 Diesel Westy that I bought in the May '98. i travelled around North America that summer. i haven't had a chance to use it to that degree in a long time and have recently bought a truck from a friend who was getting ripped off on a dealer trade in. Westfalia setup has pop-top, gas stove, fridge, water/sink. odometer is broken, has been since i got it. stuck at 133,000. i probably put about 15,000 on the van in the time i owned it. Service History : Summer 2001 - clutch slave replaced - replaced accelerator cable Fall 1999 - rear brake pads replaced Summer 1999 - replaced tires Summer 1998 - diesel injector pump replaced with a salvaged unit - engine rebuilt due to broken timing belt Previous - supposedly engine/tranny were rebuilt early 1997 according to previous owner. known issues: - no muffler ( so it's really really loud right now ) - soft brakes - rust in the typical spot under the water/electric hookup - rear sliding door dented from a collisin (functions fine) - windshield leaks under heavy rains - pop top tent has two small duct-tape patches from a mouse-hole. They built a nest over a month when i didn't drive it for a while. - heater/vent blower fan motor is not working i'm looking to get around $2000 for it. The van is located in Brighton, MA. if interested, please drop me an email at volker@interdim.com or call me at 617 256 3836 (evenings) peace, volker neumann -- ../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\../''\.. volker_neumann volker@interdimensions.com (617)279-2700 |
