You may have a small fracture on the PC board. Sounds like it was making a marginal connection, and when you put pressure on it to change bulbs, it went all the way out. You may be able to locate the fracture with a magnifying glass. If so, you could possibly scrape away some of the dielectric coating on the board and place a drop of solder on it to bridge the gap. Another possibility would be to simply run a jumper wire from one of the working lamps to the faulty one.
