Subject: Diesel head bolt torque, Cofap rings
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Two questions: 1) In the Bentley head bolt torque procedure for 1.6NA stretch bolts, does the first retightening after a warm-up need to be done after the engine cools down completely?

2) anyone have experience with Cofap rings? My diesel consigliere has a wabbit diesel with >200,000 miles on Cofap rings. I see that Cofap is a joint venture between someone and Mahle, so that has to be good. Anyone?

Thanks in advance
