don't scream yet folks: will the stock 15"x7" 2000 Golf wheels fit on a
Vanagon?  or, can they be made to fit with some minor machining?


my little brother had some snazzy 16" wheels put on his Golf.   he'll give
me the 15"s if they'll fit.  i've got 14" alloys from a late model Vanagon
(even my spare) that have Michelins only about halfway through their tread
life.


still, given how hard it's getting to find light truck tires that are up to
snuff and available in the brands we like.  it might be a good idea to hold
on to them until it's new tire time.


so is it a yes or no?  a yes would be nice.
